I think that the movie is more emotional than the book because the book is too short and surface (in terms of feelings). The book tells more about the war (rifles, guns, Indians), everything I don't know how to tell it... In movies sometimes is better to understand difficult things because you can see it and, if they are characters, you can see their faces and listen who is talking. I like this film but the finale its too sad. And for the book... I don't liked it while I read it, and that's why it was difficult to finish; it was very boring.
